Wooden windows used to be everywhere and the very few still in existence largely look dated. However, that hasn’t stopped householders from admiring the appeal of wood, something they can get by buying replacement UPVC windows coated in a Golden Oak woodgrain. You cannot argue that these Golden Oak UPVC windows are unbelievably similar to authentic wooden window designs. But while they’re similar in appearance, they couldn’t be more difference when it comes to the performance they offer. These new windows also won’t demand anywhere near the amount of maintenance.
At the same time as integrating the new windows, we were also tasked with fitting French doors in the bedroom so that the views outside could be taken in more closely. The entrance into the house is also new – a brand new composite door. Zoom in on any of the windows and doors and you can see that it’s not just the finish that’s lifelike as the hardware is too. Two more pairs of French doors are also now positioned on the bottom level to give the occupiers more excuse to switch the interior for the exterior more frequently. The newest feature to really get people talking though is the window upstairs that we carefully made-to-measure. It’s such an impressive shape.
