It’s amazing how the simple addition of a new roof, though no ordinary roof, has completely transformed this old conservatory and made it feel alive again. This roof is called the ‘Ultraroof’ and it’s a very prominent feature in the overall design due to the glazed panels that sit amongst the lightweight tiles. These glass sections supply the inside of the extension with copious amounts of sunlight to keep it feeling bright in the daytime and the same goes for the trademark facets of the Victorian style. In the absence of natural light, the spotlights in the internal pelmet can be turned on.
We have to say that the configuration of the Victorian conservatory perfectly suits its setting and merges brilliantly into the building. So that constant use could be gotten out of it and to create an unmissable centrepiece, the householder asked for a traditional fireplace to be incorporated into the design. Our fitting team very carefully installed the fireplace and made sure that flue suitably protruded through the roofing system to ensure that any noxious gases generated escape free of the conservatory. Safe to say, the householder absolutely loves the cosy feel that the fire brings and can’t stop smiling since we completed the job.
